GRADING SYSTEM
The marking system is based on a 4.0 scale. Plus or minus marks are not computed. Advanced Placement courses receive one extra grade point if the grade earned is a C or above. A ninth through twelfth-grade class rank and a tenth through twelfth-grade class rank are calculated and included on each student’s transcript. Rankings are calculated at the end of each semester and are based on a weighted grade point average which includes all courses with the exception of physical education. The school’s passing mark is a D- and each course is granted 5 credits per semester.
