Lobo Pride
A high school in our district had some seniors make a poor decision in an attempt to “leave their mark” on the school… most commonly known as a “senior prank”. These students decided to hop a fence onto the pool deck and push everything, including brand new equipment that the entire district uses, into the pool. Bleachers, lane lines, covers, and more had to be taken out by fork lift. This cost to the school and district was a tremendous amount of money and damaged, if not destroyed, the equipment. Along with that, the students involved will not only be pulled from all graduation events, including the ceremony, but will also be charged by the police to the fullest extent of the law.
These students obviously did not have a sense of pride for their school. They felt it was okay to destroy a part of their campus. We know that all of our students, including our seniors, have a sense of pride and commitment to Los Amigos. Honor our campus by making the right decisions. Understand that if you are part of anything that destroys or creates a disruption on this campus, you will not participate in graduation, you will be prosecuted by the police, and you will be held financially responsible for all damages and expenses. There will be supervision on campus 24 hours a day and the Fountain Valley Police Department will be coming by the school on a regular basis throughout the night. Lobos are responsible citizens. Leave Los Amigos knowing that it is in the best shape possible for future Lobos.
